Pain – Coming Home

Pain (typeset as PAIN) is a musical project from Sweden that mixes heavy metal with influences from electronic music and techno. The project started out as a hobby project for front man Peter Tägtgren, whose idea was to fuse heavy metal with 1980s-inspired electro-industrial and techno influences.

Been watching myself in the mirror,
For 40 plus some years.
And seeing how time,
Makes you wrinkled and gray.

Remember when we were young,
We had all the time in the world.
And life was beautiful,
We didn’t had a clue.

As we’re getting older,
More lies are shining through.
And I’m busting my heart for the world.
I’m getting tired, I just wanna go home.

I’m coming home!

My head is empty and I need a break.
I have to be hungry again to breathe and create.
Life don’t come easy, it’s always the same.
My brain is a ticking bomb!

I’m getting tired,
I just wanna go home.

I’m coming home!
I’m coming home!
I’m coming home!

Life’s not a dream,
Nothing is what it seems to be.

My brain is a ticking bomb!
I’m getting tired,
I just wanna go home.

I’m coming home…

Pain – Follow me

Pain (typeset as PAIN) is a musical project from Sweden that mixes heavy metal with influences from electronic music and techno. The project started out as a hobby project for front man Peter Tägtgren, whose idea was to fuse heavy metal with 1980s-inspired electro-industrial and techno influences.

Good luck has never been my friend
I’ve always been the fool
Please don’t follow shadows of mine
’cause the time is running out for me
I walk in the path of a misfits blood
No compass can steer my way
No light at the end of the tunnel
And time is running out for me

No gold at the end of the rainbow
No high hopes, dreams deceive

Follow me
The trouble seems to always wanna
Follow me
It has let me down so far so why don’t you
Follow me
The trouble seems to always wanna
Follow me
It has let me down so far so why don’t you
Follow me

I walk in the path of a misfits blood
No compass can steer my way
No light at the end of the tunnel
The time is running out for me

No gold at the end of the rainbow
No high hopes, dreams deceive

Follow me
The trouble seems to always wanna
Follow me
It has let me down so far so why don’t you
Follow me
The trouble seems to always wanna
Follow me
It has let me down so far so why don’t you
Follow me

Follow me
The trouble seems to always wanna
Follow me
It has let me down so far so why don’t you
Follow me
The trouble seems to always wanna
Follow me
It has let me down so far so why don’t you
Follow me

Here is the news
Coming to you every hour on the hour
(Here is the news)
The weathers fine but there may be a meteor shower.

Here is the news
A cures been found for good old rocket lag
(Here is the news)
Someone left their life behind in a plastic bag.

Here is the news
Here is the news
Here is the news.

(Spaceworkers dispute in london today.
A lightning strike by air shuttle officers
Led to over 2, 000 passengers being held up
For up to 10 hours to board flights…)

(Ten eurotechnicians were today sentenced
By the justice computer to be banished for life
To the prison satellite penal one…)

Here is the news
Another action filled adventure
(Here is the news)
All the worst from the world convention.

Here is the news (the very latest)
Here is the news
Here is the news
Here is the news

Here is the news
I wanna go home, I want my baby back
(Here is the news)
I wanna go back!

Here is the news
Somebody has broken out of satellite two
(Here is the news…)
Look very carefully, it may be you, you, you, you…

Here is the news.

Could not find a live version of this, so here’s a fan video to the original studio track.
